FLAMBOYANT FLOWERS no. A057

This is a small experimental study done of the flowers found on the Flamboyant Tree in Puerto Rico. I placed Rice Paper over the canvas panel, Then I painted acrylics both as transclucent and opaques, to generate the richness of the reds on the two Petals.
