He was also giving a three day workshop.
If you know anything about Steve, you know his workshops fill up immediately, and always have waiting lists. I sadly did not find out early enough.
But…
There was a last minute cancellation in the workshop he was giving and lucky me! I got the magical phone call to come fill it! yay.
It was great seeing Steve again.
Stephen Quiller is one of the most humble and kind artists I have met. He is so willing to share the knowledge he has acquired over the years and I so admire that in an artist of his caliber. And watching him paint, well it is a joy.
The refresher really helped fill in the gaps I had remaining after the intense five day winter workshop at Jack Richeson’s, particularly regarding the use of semi-neutrals which Steve uses often.
I love surprises, and this was about as good as they get.
I am so glad Stephen decided to come over the mountain.
Hi Cyd
The site is looking really, really good. It would be fun to see the screen capture of your blog at the start of this class.
You’re doing great work. Keep it coming.
Thank You Jackie. Would you believe I forgot to take one!
oh well, we all know it didn’t look like this. hehe. Got your note. That weekly fair sounds wonderful! I think you are on the right track.
I’m so happy for you, great opportunity. I love Steve Quiller’s work and some day I hope to take a workshop from him, or at least watch a demo.
Thank you Helen. I hope some day you get the chance. He has some great videos if you don’t make it to a class. Of course your work is so gorgeous already! I’d like to take a class from you. :)
